it is hard to move forwards in life if you are dirt poor. To achieve dreams and ambitions, you need some finances behind you. That is why taking care of the MONEY side of things is so important.
the spiritual path need not be one of poverty; but it can be one of great simplicity. The more material things you commit to, the more the debts you owe. There is a danger in that.
Sound Finances lead to a certain peace of mind; that your body will not be threatened with want or despair; that the rent and expenses will be taken care of.
Sound Finances frees up the mind to concentrate on the Important Things; whatever those things may be.

That makes good sense, less for the mind to make trouble with.

Beautiful music. Wow.
I spent two years climbing out of debt several years back, and how liberating it is to be here. I get to decide how to spend my time, have time to be well, to meditate, to really suck the nectar out of the passing moments.
Simplicity…..it is understated and undervalued. And it is a doorway.
Thanks for sharing such a great post.

Our church reaches classes on this. More should. I guess the good news about the current economic instability is that thems that know this stuff will be allowed greater voice by thems that needs ta know. So yay for that.

who decide what are the important things? He tought me about freedom and minimul consumption I understood this many years ago. However tragically I lost the one who showd me the light. Consumtion without financing creates resentment & lack of freedom for those who see it is important first to survive
